• Generate AI portraits and videos based on the photos you upload.
• Operate, personalize, and improve your experience within the app.
• Process transactions and send related confirmations.
• Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support requests.
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activity to improve app performance and safety.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

3. Your photos and AI-generated content

Photos you upload are used solely to generate your personalized AI portraits and videos. We do not use your personal photos to train public or third-party AI models, and we do not sell your photos to advertisers or data brokers.

Generated portraits are stored in your account so you can access your history, and are deleted if you delete your account, subject to limited backup retention windows described in Section 5.

If you choose to share a portrait or video to Klon's community square or to a third-party platform (such as TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube), that content becomes subject to the privacy practices and visibility settings of that destination.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, analytics, and customer support, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
• Legal compliance: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
• With your consent: when you direct us to share content with a specific third party, such as a social platform.

5. Data storage and security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the app and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage most of these settings directly within the app, or contact us using the details below.

You may delete your account and associated photos at any time from the app's account settings.
